Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from y'all on the internet.
Today's question is:
The will your wrap fail if you pressure wash your vans? The short answer is no. So I know within a lot of fleets and uh more style more uh uh you know like bigger fleets with a number of vehicles. They tend to have a detailer come out and either power wash all of them at once which is a good idea. They just need to you know stand back and make sure they're straight on with the vehicle and not always not hitting it from the side where you're hitting edges or things like that.
Pressure washing vans will typically not cause the wrap to fail, though Nick cautioned that the person pressure washing should maintain a straight angle and avoid hitting the edges of the vinyl. Furthermore, High Street Wrap can usually wrap over small dents, scratches, and older decals, especially on commercial vehicles (00:07:54). Nick stressed that when wrapping over old vinyl, the edges of the previous decal must be trimmed and the surface prepared properly for the new vinyl to stick (00:09:09).
